In a candid chat on Four Seasons with Lebanese host Ali Yassin, Jalila rejected being called “Tamer Hosny’s ex,” stating, “I’m Jalila from Morocco. Our relationship ended long ago, and it won’t return. I’ve built my presence on social media since 2018 and worked hard to reach where I am today.”

Jalila recounted meeting Tamer in 2009, a fan since his film Omar & Salma. “I told friends he’d be the Egyptian artist I’d love,” she said. Their first encounter in Dubai, arranged by a mutual friend, led to an instant connection. “We talked until dawn, and there was mutual admiration. Tamer texted me ‘good morning,’ and our relationship began,” she shared, noting both sweet and sour moments before it ended.

Jalila described the devastating moment she learned of Tamer’s marriage to Basma Boussel. “I was preparing for dinner with him when a friend called, saying he got married. I broke down, screaming, and trashed my hotel room. That betrayal gave me a phobia of men, travel, and plane sounds,” she revealed, spending days in Egypt before returning to the UAE, still haunted by the pain.

Addressing her past tension with Basma Boussel, Jalila said, “She’s not my enemy. We had disputes, but I’m now at peace and mature. Basma may have suffered more. She sent me greetings via a friend, and I wish her success, happiness, and blessings for her kids and career.”
